I am an EOL Doula with a 35+yr background in nursing, and a passion for palliative care. In my years of nursing, I have witnessed many people die – some have been amazing and peaceful, and many have been less than ideal, for a variety of reasons. I have also experienced personal losses that have shaped my approach to this sacred work. I am passionate about improving death literacy in our culture and providing education, empowerment, and support for dying well.
Along with my colleague, Nicole Stephens, we present our business,
“End Stage Matters”, servicing NE Victoria and beyond. We offer Doula services, Advance Care Planning, Death Cafes, Workshops, Health Advocacy, and even a Podcast! We can work with you in person, or online.
We also offer a one-woman play, “The Last Waltz”, which deals with the subjects of end of life care and advance care planning. This play can be presented anywhere in Australia – just send the invite and we’ll be there!
